GM SUPPLIER DISCOUNT
MOTORSPORTS PROMo KIT
For this project, we were instructed to create a physical promotional kit to be mailed out to Chevrolet-sponsored motorsports teams as a reminder to managers and awareness for team members that they can utilize the GM Supplier Discount any time throughout the year.
First we began with 3 look and feel concepts, write-ups and headlines for copy tone. We then presented to client and had a direction chosen.
Next we looked at promotional items and pricing, working hand-in-hand with our internal production manager to understand our creative range, dimensions, etc. We then ran our suggested kit items by client for approval and moved forward with mock-ups.
We mocked up kit art, measured to determine box size and look while our account team worked with client on budget approval. We provided a full deck of all items, quantity, dimensions, etc. with full art and copy for legal, privacy, and client approval.
Then we worked closely with our print vendors to get everything as close as possible to mock-ups — even going as far as arranging the kit properly for our vendor, accounting for in-transit shifting and how someone would open the package.
Finally, we ended up with a full-color box that opens to reveal a welcome letter, a folder (including handouts, stickers, and posters inside), and a peak-through cut-out showcasing the water bottle and hats, which were mailed to 25 teams.
